Doppelreim MCP Server

Real rhymes for AI assistants. Language models are bad at multisyllabic rhymes; this server gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any other MCP client the rhyme dictionary behind Double Rhyme and the Doppelreim app: multisyllabic rhymes, vowel rhymes, classic rhymes and rhyming lines in 50+ languages. Free.

Tools

Tool	What it does
`find_rhymes`	Rhymes for a word or short phrase. `type`: `double` (multisyllabic, default), `classic` (perfect end rhymes, grouped by matching syllables) or `vowel` (assonance). `vocabulary`: `general` or `rap` (rap lyrics; German and English).
`find_rhyming_lines`	Real lines from lyrics, proverbs and sayings that end with a rhyme on the word – inspiration for the next line.

Limits

Free for personal and commercial use. Each client can make 1,000 tool calls per day (resets at 00:00 UTC). Need more, or want to build on the rhyme data? Write to hoenicke.florian@gmail.com.

Privacy

The server receives the words you look up, not your conversation. To enforce the daily limit it stores a salted hash of your IP address for up to two days; the address itself is not stored. Request logs are kept for up to 30 days. Details: privacy policy.
